Professional Master in Human-Computer Interaction (MHCI) The Carnegie Mellon | Portugal partnership brings to Madeira a dual degree Professional Masters in Human-Computer Interaction. This world-class program is open to students with a background in psychology, communication, design and computer science/engineering. It provides its graduates with the opportunity to become leaders in the high-tech and multi-disciplinary industry of developing innovative interactive products and services. In this session you can hear more about this unique chance to study for a semester in the USA and gain a masters degree from Carnegie Mellon University (one of the top schools in the world) in the field of Human Computer Interaction, a modern and forward looking discipline. Information will also be available on the two semesters held at University of Madeira which include an 8 month capstone project where students are invited to work in teams to solve a real problem for a corporate client. Finally, we will discuss the summer internships opportunities available to students in top ranked companies such as Microsoft, Vodafone, IBM and Logica. The session will include brief presentations from faculty covering details of the course, the application process and the job prospects.
